Radius-ED Strengthens Top Management

We are pleased to announce changes to the top management of Radius-ED designed to strengthen our senior management team and to set it on course for continued growth.

Bala Balamurali joins the Radius team as its new Acting CEO, based in Singapore, effective February 2009. Bala brings with him more than 15 years of experience in international business development, finance, operations and business integration. His most recent career roles includes Managing Director of SmartConnect and Senior Vice President & CMO of Asia Cellular Satellite (ACeS). At SmartConnect, a subsidiary company of Smart Communications Inc., he helped establish Smart's presence in the Maritime GSM market. Bala's hands-on career experience, business acumen and finance background are key attributes that will help Radius stay focused on achieving its global growth objectives.

Bala holds an MBA from Henley Business School and he is also a Chartered Management Accountant.

Dr Bruno Sorrentino will assume the role of President and Chairman of the Radius-ED Board. Executive Director, Sherri Goh and Dr Bruno will become part of an Executive Committee to complement the senior management team. We have built and grown Radius over the last 8 years to where it is today. We are excited to add Bala to our team to help us grow Radius globally to its full potential.
